Celebrate Galentine’s Day the Stylish Way

Rosa & The Artist Galentine's Day

Valentine’s Day. That wonderful holiday when we celebrate love with our significant others.

But what about our close friends, that we love and adore?

It has become increasingly popular to also use this time of year as an opportunity to celebrate friendships, old and new.  February 13th, which is now known as Galentine’s Day, is the day to let your girls know just how much they mean to you. If your crew is a stylish bunch, like mine, and you’re stumped on how to honor them, it’s Kalla to the rescue!

The luxury floral delivery service (which is only available in Chicago and Miami) has an impressive collection of arrangements that are perfect for Galentine’s Day, or any other special day. Once you pair their flowers with an exclusive array of artisanal chocolates by Christopher Elbow and a bottle of champagne (all available on the site),  then add in a few party favors and girl talk, you’ll have the makings of  a memorable Girls’ Night In.

The Rosa & The Artist arrangement is specifically meant for those with “an eye for style” and described as a tribute to those who inspire you. Thus, making it my top pick for celebrating the women in my life.

She (yes, she) arrived in the most beautiful packaging and immediately set the bar extremely high for future flower deliveries.

In person, she is stunning, with those long lashes and bold red lips, topped with a “head” full of lush roses and a crown of succulents.

And let’s not forget the chocolates, covered in edible prints that are too pretty to eat…almost.

Of course I had to throw in a few favors that can be found in and around town.

The Kate Spade “p.s.” notebook and mason jar full of fun stamps were found at TJ Maxx and Marshalls in Countryside (5555 S. Brainard Ave), respectively. The beautifully fragrant Mitchell Black “White” candle can be picked up locally at Tabula Tua (1015 W. Armitage Ave) or J.Toor (900 N. Michigan Ave, 3rd Flr).*

So if you’re looking for a unique way to celebrate Galentine’s (or even Valentine’s) Day, let Kalla set the party off right! After that, everything else will fall in place.

In partnership with Kalla.
