If you know me (or have followed this blog for any length of time), you are familiar with my affinity with the Randolph Street Market. It is on my “to do” list every month and my mood is quite sour any time I can’t attend. It is my #1 source for all things vintage, unique and handmade. Not only do I love the vendors and the merchandise, but I’m also a fan of the Randolph Street Market founder, Sally Schwartz (remember her fabulous closet?).
So of course I’m excited to share the news that the market will be featured tonight on the PBS series, Market Warriors. The show follows a team of vintage and experts as they travel the country in search of the best finds. Tune in at 9PM CST to see what they found at the Randolph Street Market. Word on the street is that they had a specific mission for their Chicago visit: find things from the 1970s.
Below is a preview for tonight’s episode:
It’s great to see the market get some national shine, although I’m not sure I’m excited for everyone to know about my favorite shopping destination. Yes, I’m a tad bit selfish. But I’ll get over. I’m fully aware that I can’t keep it to myself.
Randolph Street Market is to be shared and loved by all. Check out Market Warriors tonight to find out exactly why.
And who knows…you may spot me and my baby bump in the footage.
