By now, everyone knows that I have an unhealthy obsession with the Randolph Street Market. I rarely miss a month and never leave empty-handed…EVER. Needless to say, when the Season Opener “Garden Party” kicked off during Memorial Day weekend, I was front and center.
Local bloggers and editors were given the opportunity to arrive early and select their Editor’s Picks. This is always a hard task, since there is an insane amount of great merchandise.
I always have a focus when I attend the market. This month, it was statement jewelry and majority of my Editor’s Picks fell into that category.

In addition to all of the wonderful vendors, this year’s Garden Party included a decked out cabana (which ended up being my relaxation haven and cooling station), a fashion installation (styled by Redgi Woods) and the cross-country traveling Bar III Flea Market Tour.
The fashion installation was such a breath of fresh air. Talented designer and stylist Redgi Woods outfitted the models with one-of-a-kind pieces from his ReFINDefined collection. Revamped vintage never looked so good. And to complete each look, he added jewels by Elyse Marie Vieni and topped them off with headpieces from Gold Coast Couture. Clearly, “garden party chic” was the theme and I loved every bit of it.

Macy’s contemporary label, Bar III, graced the market with its latest merchandise. I enjoyed getting acquainted with the brand and was impressed with quite a few items including the striped midi, lightweight anorak and beaded necklace. Well known blogger, Aimee Song, was also on hand to chat with market goers about Bar III, while rocking some of the best pieces from the collection. Word on the street is that Randolph Street Market was Aimee’s favorite stop on the flea market tour.
But we already knew that, didn’t we?
As one who never keeps all of the goodness to herself, I was tweeting and instagrammin’ like a madwoman. The result? A few of my friends and twitter followers made their way to the market the following day. Success!
So, who’s joining me for the next go ’round? June 23 and 24 will be here before you know it. Mark those calenders!
Did you make it to the market this month? If so, share some of your finds in the comments.

I’m also a fan of Randolph Street Market and plan to attend next month. Some cute finds.
